Advances in Cable Broadband: It’s Not Your Parents' Cable Anymore

What is the state-of-the-art in cable broadband Internet? Is cable broadband as capacious, reliable, secure, sustainable, and scalable as other fiber-based solutions? Panelists will provide insights into the industry’s 10G platform initiative to deliver multigigabit symmetrical capacity, lower latencies, enhanced reliability, and improved security.

These leaders from the cable broadband industry and in cable broadband research will address the latest cable technology advancements and dispel the misconceptions about cable broadband’s ability to deliver gigabit speeds, symmetrical speeds, secure connections, and scalable, future-proofed bandwidth even as the technology evolves and demand grows.

This session is intended to highlight what cable broadband can contribute to our state’s historically ambitious digital equity initiative, and in particular, for last-mile infrastructures, particularly in public-private partnerships. This is the second in a series of roundtables that will explore state-of-the-art broadband technologies.

Cable Broadband, it's not your parents' cable anymore.
