Traditional penetration testing (pentesting) occur only once or twice a year, but attackers operate every day. Autonomous pentesting closes that gap by enabling organizations to test continuously, validate security controls, and identify weaknesses before attackers do. However, with CENIC's autonomous penetration testing service powered by NodeZero, your organization can move from reactive security to continuous, proactive defense.
CENIC is now offering our associates an Autonomous Penetration Testing Service, powered by NodeZero® from Horizon3.ai. This new service can either be managed by CENIC or purchased to be managed directly by your site. Organizations today face a relentless stream of cyber threats. Traditional vulnerability scans and periodic penetration tests are no longer enough to keep pace with modern attackers. Stay ahead of evolving threats by implementing autonomous penetration testing to provide visibility across your entire organization.
This service delivers continuous, real-world attack simulation using the industry-leading NodeZero platform. Instead of simply identifying vulnerabilities, NodeZero safely exploits weaknesses the way an attacker would—showing you exactly how your environment can be compromised and how to fix it.
Using NodeZero strengthens your defenses with the following key capabilities:
CENIC has partnered with Horizon3 to manage their NodeZero autonomous penetration testing service for the CENIC community. CENIC will meet with associates interested in using the service to identify a solution that is right for your organization. Solutions may include public-based testing, private internal testing, or a combination of both public and private testing. Once identified and contracted, CENIC will work with you to build out the solution and begin testing based on your selected schedule. Testing can be performed annually, quarterly, or monthly.
CENIC will provide autonomous penetration testing results in both a summary and a detailed report. The detailed report will include actionable recommendations for how to address identified risks. Once risks have been addressed, CENIC will perform verification testing scans to confirm that the reported risk has been remediated. Summary reports will be provided based on your selected schedule to provide a record of tests performed, even if the tests show no identifiable risks.
Contact CENIC today to schedule a demonstration or learn how autonomous penetration testing can strengthen your cybersecurity posture.
